Apparently, a top news channel and a media baron's top newspaper are setting their weapons ready for the climax battle for their favourite political party. The political party was defeated in 2004 and 2009 elections consecutively. If it gets defeated in 2014 too, it scores an unfortunate hat-trick. To avoid this hat-trick, the media sources are coming up with innovative techniques of criticizing the heads of other political parties. While the channel is telecasting the spoofs and satirical programs on other political party leaders, the newspaper is highlighting their favourite political party's news while sidelining the news of other political parties. Yet, the political party has not attained such a craze among the people as expected. Meanwhile, the head of the political party had done hunger strike in New Delhi recently seeking the state to be divided in a proper way. It is interesting to see whether 'that' media wins the battle or become the losers forever in politics.
