Young Rebel Star Prabhas' 'Mirchi' completed its 100 days run on 18th May,2013 in 16 direct centers across the state. However, the makers have publicized it as 28 centers which included shifts. The movie also ran 50 days in 153 direct centers. Finally, the movie managed to collect Rs.45.23 crores share in its full run and stood as the highest grosser among Prabhas' movies.
Having been made as a romantic and mass entertainer, Prbhas shared the screen space with the bubbly heroines Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay. Devi Sri Prsad's tunes made the movie a musical hit. Koratala Siva directed this movie while Vamsikrishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati produced the movie on UV Creations.
