A group of miscreants in the name of 'Telugu TV parirakshaka Samithi', attacked the office of MAA TV on Friday, 12th April. They destroyed the furniture and broke the windshields of cars. Reportedly, a security guard was injured by them.
Well, Suresh Kumar, the convener of the joint action committee of Telugu TV artists condemned this act and said a true agitator would never prefer violent measures to get his wish fulfilled. Meanwhile, some of the observers are suspecting that a veteran director, who has been supporting the TV artists, might have given the idea of damaging the properties of MAA as he had a strong rivalry with one of the share holders of MAA TV. Meanwhile, the activists also interrupted a game show's shoot being shot by the the members of the TV channel at Rama Naidu Studios.
Meanwhile, the management of MAA has condemned the act of agitators and has revealed that they are doing business legally. If they stop telecasting the serials all of a sudden, they get losses in crores. They also assured the agitators that they gradually stop telecasting dubbing TV serials.
