The major drawback which could hamper the range of 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' is absence of comedian Brahmanandam. For that matter, except a scene on Venu Madhav and few minutes of humor on Ravi Babu, there is no big fun in the movie. Of course, Mahesh Babu's oneline punches in West Godavari slang are a bit entertaining. But, once story starts to take emotional path in second half, audience are bored with no element to tickle the funny bone.
Before the release of SVSC, media has highly publicized that Brahmi got a substantial character in the film which was reduced to cutshort the runtime to 159 minutes. On repeated requests and demand of public, we hear that Dil Raju and Srikant Addala are planning to add few of the scenes of Brahmi into final copies. Well, these extra scenes might be definitely entertaining and we need to wait and see for an official confirmation from Dil Raju.
