Yes, ever since ‘Khatta Meetha’ offered an unfavorable result for Trisha, she kept out of reach from Mumbai makers but was optimistic to make a come-back with Prabhu’s third Hindi directorial venture as a remake of ‘Nuvvosthaanante Nenoddantaana.’
In fact, the original Telugu version directed by Prabhu himself had Trisha giving life to Siri character. Obviously, Trisha believed in her director expecting a call. Unfortunately, when a big shot like Kumar Taurani’s son is debuting as hero with this ambitious storyline, Prabhu gave preference for a younger looking girl Shruti Hasan rather than an old Trisha.
