The new generation heroes coming from well established celebrity families are more often familiar for showing their ‘Paithyam’ on shooting spots. We have heard of many inner circuit buzzes where in the duty of actual director becomes less significant when hero of that particular film is from any of the noted families. Same aphorism seems to have been applicable to yesterday release ‘Mr. Nookayya’ of Manchu Manoj.
Apparently his performance and hard work as hero of the film is definitely appreciable but sources say that his fingering into the script and direction department resulted in a mixed critics verdict for the flick. Especially, the first half of film filled with adult contented jokes and those eye straining flashy visual effects looked to have been forcibly inserted. Given the kind of energy and talent Manoj is gifted with, there is every reason for him to develop as a wonderful artist like his dad. Need of the hour is…better he should start working on saleable scripts with note-worthy directors thus controlling his creative thirst which might be treated as ‘extraaaas’ by outsiders.
