Shankar to taste Bitter result?

South Indian top director Shankar's 'Snehithudu' movie was released on 26th January with huge expectations. However, unlike his previous movies, the movie received mediocre openings. As soon as the first show was completed, it was understood that the movie was a frame to frame copy product of the original version, '3 Idiots'. Everybody expected that Shankar might incorporate some visual effects and more funny scenes to add spice to the movie but Shankar disappointed them in that aspect.

As per the trade reports, it is heard that the movie could get the occupancy rate of 50% to 70% across the state on day 2 of its release. The situation became worse on day 3 morning shows, as the movie didn't touch 50% occupancy in more number of centers in the state. Sources say, the movie was already watched by many people in Hindi and this hampers the collections of the movie. Also, Vijay has no craze in tollywood like Rajnikanth, Vikram, Suriah, Kaarthi, Vishal etc. No technical wonders in the movie is also said to be one of the reasons for the poor performance of the movie at tollywood box office.
