The film Dookudu is making waves in Tamil Nadu as well. The film has raked in record opening collections in Andhra Pradesh breaking many a record in the process. Dookudu hs been released in 17 theaters in Chennai alone and the film is being screened in as many as 42 theaters in Tamil Nadu. This is a record indeed.
What is more interesting is that the film is not a dubbed Tamil version but the Telugu film. While there is a considerable Telugu population in Tamil Nadu, particularly Chennai this is the first time that a Telugu film has been released in such large number of theaters.
