Hrithik Krrish 4 Takes More Time To Start Rolling

Krrish 4 Faces Budget Issues

Hrithik Roshan's highly anticipated film Krrish 4 has reportedly hit a roadblock due to budget issues. The film requires a massive budget of around ₹700cr, which no studio is willing to invest in, according to Bollywood Hungama. The studios' hesitation stems from the fact that it has been over a decade since the release of Krrish 3, and the market has changed significantly, especially with the rise of Marvel movies.

The budget issues have led to changes in the production team, with Siddharth Anand no longer associated with the project. Hrithik Roshan and his father, Rakesh Roshan, are now approaching studios across India to secure a lucrative deal. The production will be handled by FilmKraft, along with a leading studio, while Anand's Marflix will focus on other projects.

The changes in the production team have also led to the departure of director Karan Malhotra, who was roped in by Anand. A brand new team will now come on board to rework the budgets and take the film to the floors. The film, which was initially scheduled to start in the second half of 2025, may now begin filming in 2026.

With Hrithik Roshan's upcoming film War 2 expected to perform well, things may look up for Krrish 4 in the future. An official confirmation from the makers about the film's schedule is still awaited.
