When Mardaani 3 was announced in August 2024, movie lovers got excited. According to the latest, it is coming out that the film will go to sets from June. Currently the makers are conducting looktests for various characters.
The screenplay is getting fine-tuned and soon it will be ready. The makers are concentrating on roping in top star for the role of the powerful antagonist. Rani Mukherjee who is playing the lead role,shared her excitement saying “I’m truly proud of my 'Mardaani' franchise. It is a franchise that keeps on giving. The love, adulation, and respect that I have received from Mardaani is truly humbling. I’m looking forward to bringing back Shivani Shivaji Roy on the big screen soon. It’s been a while since I have donned the cop uniform and played tribute to the women police force of our country.”
She added "I’m excited to see how 'Mardaani 3' shapes up as! I am crossing my fingers because I would love to play the part of Shivani." Mardaani and Mardaani 2 was released in 2014 and 2019 and attracted everyone.
