Manchu Vishnu on the professional front is busy with the devotional entertainer Kannappa. The film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh is about the staunch devotee Kannappa of Lord Shiva. The film stars Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan and Madhoo play supporting roles, alongside Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar (his Telugu film debut) and Kajal Aggarwal in cameo appearances.
