Kantara: Chapter 1 is generating immense interest among movie lovers as the film is the prequel to the blockbuster film Kantara. Rishabh Shetty's film is progressing at a brisk pace and in the midst of all this, shocking rumours spread that there was a bus accident and around 20 crew members got injured.

However, the makers clarified that the shooting is progressing in full swing and no member from the crew was injured in the accident. The source confirmed that the shooting started at 6 AM on Monday and the bus accident took pace 20 KM away from the shooting spot. The makers shared that the the vehicle involved in the accident was a private bus and only few members from Kantara were present.
Official Clarification
The statement from the film unit ran "The news making rounds is completely false. The Kantara: Chapter 1 team began shooting at 6 AM today, and everything is proceeding as normal. A minor accident occurred 20 kilometres away from the shooting location, involving a local bus carrying some members of the Kantara team. However, no injuries were reported"
Kantara Chapter 1 is slated for spectacular release on 2 October 2025.
