Naga Chaitanya is currently busy with his upcoming film Thandel. The film directed by Chandoo Mondeti of Karthikeya 2 fame is progressing in full swing. The film is racing for a grand release on 7 February 2025.
Expectations are high on the project as it happens to be Chandoo Mondeti's first after the sensation he created with Karthikeya 2 across the nation. The presence of talented actress Sai Pallavi known for her stellar performances is increasing hype on the project which is based on the real life incidents of the fishermen.

Earlier rumoiurs spread that pretty beauty Pooja Hegde will be the female lead in the film. Now reports are coming that Meenakshi Chaudhary has been roped in as the female lead. Meenakshi Chaudhary is on a high after scoring a hit with Lucky Bhaskar and is set to entertain viewers with films like Mechanic Rocky and Sankrantiki Vasthunnam.
Production Details
The project will go to sets from 11 December 2024 in Hyderabad. BVSN.Prasad is bankrolling the project .
