When Varun Tej from Mega family entered the silver screen and created ripples with his different genre of films like Mukunda, Kanche,Fidaa,F2,Tholi Prema and Gaddalakonda Ganesh, despite few setbacks in the middle like Loafer and Mister, everyone hailed him for trying to be different from his family heroes who prefer to do only out and out commercial potboilers.
Even when his films like Antariksham 9000 KMPH and Ghani failed, he was praised for his sincerity and hardwork.However now with the three of his films Gandeevadhari Arjuna, Operation Valentine and Matka bombed at the box office, questionmarks are raised over his choices and manyfeel now that is career is at crossroads.
They say,he should be more selective about the story and script selection and stop teaming with flop directors. If we analyse his future projects,he is set to team with Merlapaka Gandhi and Vikram Sirikonda. It has been a longtime since Gandhi scored a hit while Vikram Sirikonda's last venture Touch Chesi Choodu turned out to be a disaster.
His only project that excites all now is F3 with successful director Anil Ravipudi. It has to be seen how Varun Tej will crave his future from now on.
