Teja Sajja dig at top celebrities

Young Hero satires on Top Stars

Rana Daggubati and Teja Sajja's light-hearted banter at the recent IIFA awards has gone viral on social media, capturing everyone's attention with their witty commentary on some of Tollywood’s biggest stars. Teja, who began his journey as a child actor in movies like Indra, has now gained a Pan-India following, especially after his success with Hanu-Man. Hosting the IIFA event alongside Rana, he didn't hold back from adding a touch of satire that took aim at senior heroes, and fans had mixed reactions to their humor.

During their hosting stint, Rana handed Teja a piece of paper, encouraging him to read it aloud. Teja humorously remarked on Pushpa 2's delayed release, quipping that perhaps it should be renamed "Pushpa Too Late." He also joked about Adipurush, mentioning that a seat was "left for Anjaneya Swamy in each theater," hinting at the film's religious theme and later adding that "Anjaneya Swamy can also watch on OTT."

The duo didn’t stop there. They referenced recent ups and downs in Tollywood, with Teja and Rana playfully alluding to Mr. Bachchan's varying success this year, calling it the "highest high and lowest low." Fans caught on to the humor, though some were surprised by the bluntness. Teja’s comments about Manchu Vishnu, a popular star and industry figure, were particularly bold, joking that any satire involving Vishnu would have to be “deleted within 48 hours.”

Despite some backlash, many appreciated the playful humor that added an extra spark to the event. This banter highlighted Teja’s rise as a young star unafraid to break norms, while Rana’s willingness to join in on the fun reaffirmed his reputation for keeping things fresh and lively in Tollywood.
