Prabhas Declines Multi-Starrer with Shah Rukh Khan, Focuses on Solo Projects.
The excitement surrounding multi-starrer and multi-universe films continues to grip the Indian film industry, but Prabhas, the reigning pan-Indian star, seems to be steering clear of this trend.
Despite the immense buzz surrounding a potential multi-starrer project with Shah Rukh Khan, helmed by renowned director Siddharth Anand, Prabhas has reportedly turned down the offer.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind the project, was keen to collaborate with Siddharth Anand and Prabhas. However, the film's development has been delayed due to various factors.
Following the success of "Pathan," Siddharth Anand has become a sought-after filmmaker, with several top actors eager to work with him. His latest script is a multi-starrer, with Shah Rukh Khan already confirmed for a lead role. When Anand approached Prabhas for the other lead role, the actor surprised many by declining the offer.
Prabhas reportedly stated that he is not yet ready for multi-starrer projects, indicating his preference for focusing on solo lead roles. He requested Siddharth Anand to develop a new script without any multi-starrer elements.
Prabhas is currently busy shooting for "Raja Saab" directed by Maruthi and "Fauji" directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. He also has "Spirit" directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and "Kalki 2" directed by Nag Ashwin lined up for next year.
While the multi-starrer with Shah Rukh Khan may have lost its star power, the potential of Prabhas' solo projects continues to excite fans, promising a diverse range of cinematic experiences from the pan-Indian superstar.
