Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is in talks with director Amar Kaushik and producer Dinesh Vijan for a potential big-budget adventure film, following his remarkable 2023 success. His films Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki collectively grossed approximately ₹2,500 crore at the global box office.
According to sources, Khan has met with several filmmakers in recent months, and his discussion with the Stree 2 team is underway. However, the upcoming film is not part of the Stree universe. Shah Rukh has confirmed his participation in two action films: King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, and Pathaan 2 from the YRF Spy Universe.
Shah Rukh is seeking to add a third film to his lineup before starting King, scheduled to begin production in January 2025. He is currently reviewing scripts, particularly those outside the action genre. Additionally, Shah Rukh is in touch with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK for their comic action thriller, expressing interest but seeking modifications.
