Vijay GOAT Will Have Lengthier Run-time

GOAT Got Re-censored

Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film, The Greatest Of All Time (The GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu, has undergone censorship again due to the addition of extra footage. The movie, an action-packed thriller, marks Vijay's 68th outing in the Tamil film industry. The newly added footage, a three-minute video showcasing bloopers from the film's making, has increased the movie's duration to 3 hours and 3 minutes, making it the second lengthiest film in Vijay's career after Nanban.

The film revolves around a fictional anti-terrorist wing of RAW, named SATS, and its old members who reassemble to fight against a bigger danger. Thalapathy Vijay plays the most skilled agent of the team, alongside Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Ajmal Ameer as his teammates. The movie also features Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Mohan, Lalila, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaran, Vaibhav, Yugendran, and others in supporting roles.

Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music for The GOAT, with Siddhartha Nuni handling cinematography and Venkat Raajen editing. The film's trailer suggests that Thalapathy Vijay plays a dual role, with Sneha appearing as the senior character's wife and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the love interest of the junior.
