Akkineni Prince doing Mass Maharaj film

Akhil doing Ravi Teja project

Akhil Akkineni, who has faced a string of box office setbacks in his career, is looking to turn the tide with a new film titled "Lenin." This rural action drama, set against the backdrop of Chittoor, marks a significant departure for the actor and is touted to be a pan-India project.

The film will be directed by Kishore Abburu, known for the successful "Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha." Interestingly, "Lenin" was initially intended for Ravi Teja, but due to unforeseen circumstances, Akhil stepped in.

The project is said to be a joint venture between King Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya under their banner Manam Entertainments. This familial collaboration aims to leverage their combined experience and support Akhil's career resurgence.

While Akhil's recent outings, including "Agent," have been met with disappointment, "Lenin" offers him a chance to reconnect with audiences through a genre he hasn't explored before. The film's pan-India aspirations coupled with the strong support from his family and a proven director could be the ingredients needed for Akhil's long-awaited breakthrough.
