Following the release of Salaar: Part 1, speculation ran rampant about director Prashanth Neel's next project. Telugu360 exclusively reported that Salaar 2 has been temporarily put on hold while Neel turns his attention to a new collaboration with Jr. NTR.
The highly anticipated project, which has been in development for some time, is now officially set to launch on August 9th in Hyderabad with a grand pooja ceremony. Mythri Movie Makers, in partnership with NTR Arts, will produce this high-octane action film.
Fans can expect to see Jr. NTR in a never-before-seen avatar as Neel is set to showcase the actor in a fresh light. While pre-production is currently underway, the main shooting schedule is slated to commence post the release of Jr. NTR's Devara, which is locked for a September 27th worldwide release.
Given Jr. NTR's commitment to War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan, the actor will be juggling multiple projects this year, balancing his time between the sets of Neel's film and the Bollywood action thriller.
