Kanguva director Siva introduced Boyapati to Suriya

Who introduced Boyapati to Suriya

Kanguva director Siva introduced Boyapati Srinu to Suriya. According to a source from Chennai, Tamil director Siva, who is currently working on the ambitious project 'Kanguva,' shares a close friendship with Telugu director Boyapati Srinu. This friendship led to Siva introducing Boyapati to Tamil superstar Suriya. "Siva and Boyapati Srinu have a strong mutual admiration for each other's work," the source reveals. Siva played a pivotal role in facilitating a meeting between Boyapati Srinu and Suriya in Mumbai. "Upon Siva's recommendation, Suriya expressed interest in collaborating with Boyapati Srinu and even heard a story from him. However, due to his busy schedule, Suriya was unable to allocate dates for the project," the source explains.

Boyapati Srinu, known for his action-packed films like 'Sarrainodu' with Allu Arjun and 'Akhanda' with Nandamuri Balakrishna, is now eyeing the Tamil film industry. "Several Tamil actors have appreciated Boyapati's high-octane action films like 'Sarrainodu' and 'Akhanda' and have met him to discuss potential collaborations. Vishal, another Tamil star, has expressed interest in working with Boyapati on a pan-Indian action adventure," the source reveals. Additionally, Boyapati has garnered the support of a corporate entity willing to invest Rs 150 crore in his upcoming project with a Tamil star, potentially expediting the project's progress. "With most Telugu stars occupied with prior commitments, Boyapati is exploring opportunities in Kollywood to showcase his directorial prowess," the source adds.

Meanwhile, in Tollywood, Boyapati Srinu is gearing up to reunite with Balakrishna for 'Akhanda 2' as part of his efforts to revive his career after the underwhelming performance of 'Skanda.' "By venturing into films like 'Varisu' by Vamsi Paidipally and 'Vaathi' by Venky Atluri, Boyapati is poised to expand his horizons beyond Telugu cinema and make a mark in neighboring states," the source concludes.
