It is known that Thalapathy Vijay, has floated his own political party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam, and stated that he will be retiring from films after his upcoming movie TheG.O.A.T. and the yet-untitled Thalapathy 69 which will be his final film role. Now reports suggest that for his final film, Thalapathy Vijay will be paid an unprecedented amount, infact highest ever for any Indian actor.
Reportedly, Vijay will be paid a staggering remuneration of Rs 250 crore for his final film, 'Thalapathy 69' before his plunge into politics as fulltime politician. As per Kollywood reports, political party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam and 2026 state assembly elections is where his complete focus will shift to after finishing the shoot of Thalapathy 69.
Vijay will use these remunerations for developing Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam and strengthening the party’s presence in electoral booths in 2026. The yet-untitled final film of Thalapathy Vijay will be directed by H Vinoth of Thunivu (2023), Valimai (2022) and Nerkonda Paarvai (2019) fame. Reportedly, there are a number of production houses in line to back the political thriller, DVV Entertainment though is the frontrunner to produce the film. AGS Entertainment has expressed the desire to make the film under their banner.
Meanwhile Vijay is currently busy filming for the last schedule for his penultimate film The G.O.A.T in Russia. The actor will be seen in a double role in the upcoming film. Venkat Prabhu is the Director and Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music. The final film starring Thalapathy Vijay is expected to be officially announced soon.
