Usually, horror movies revolve around ghosts and spirits and other such creatures. There were several movies in such a backdrop before, and very few directors attempt to show something deviating from this point, among them Panna Royal is one such director. Panna Royal focuses his story line by inducing some variety into it; his previous movies, Calling Bell and Rakshasi are examples of such work. Now he has come up with 'Inti No. 13' as his third film. Even in this film, Panna Royal has selected a unique script and a new narrative to scare the audience in this horror thriller. Inti No.13 is released this Friday, let's see how it managed to connect with the audience. Has the director Panna Royal achieved a hat-trick with this film? See the review and find out.

Story:

The story begins with a 90-year-old man explaining how he had freed scores of people possessed with the ghosts in his life. As part of that, he starts telling a story about a villa called 'House No.13'. He narrates the story of Arjun, who is a writer. One day, Arjun receives a call from the publisher who had printed one of his novels to inform him that the book has sold over 10 lakh copies. As a reward to this achievement, Arjun is gifted with a Villa by the publisher. Arjun asks the publisher to give the keys to his brother Sanjay, and Sanjay along with his wife, Nitya and maid Jejamma enters the house. Later on Arjun and Nitya’s brother also enters the house, everything goes on smoothly for a while and after that the twists begin to reveal. Nitya starts seeing objects masked in a white coat and she gets mentally disturbed and her behavior gets strange. Nitya’s husband takes her to a psychiatrist to solve her problem. However, the doctor also experiences something similar. Then Gajanand (Anandraj) enters the field. Who is this Gajanand, who are the people masked in the white coats, did he solve the mystery and make the rest of the story.

Analysis:

The film has got a different treatment from the director, which is usually uncommon with the films that revolve around spirits and ghosts. Like any other film, this movie also starts with a pertinent problem in a seemingly haunted house, but the way it is narrated stands out in the film. We can say that the director Panna Royal succeeded in directing the film without any lag or boredom from the beginning to the end. The occasional twists in the film also thrill the audience. Apart from the problems shown in regular horror movies, they tried to show something new. The second half feels more gripping and thrilling than the first half. Special mention should be made for the background score, as it never fails to hook the audience to the movie. And the music composed by Vinod stands special and gave a grand feel to the movie.
