Despite facing three flops after the monumental success of 'Baahubali,' Prabhas has sustained his star power, and the collaboration with director Prasanth Neel has exceeded expectations. The first part of 'Salaar' not only lived up to the anticipation but also emerged as a blockbuster, setting the stage for an eagerly awaited second installment.

Prasanth Neel skillfully portrayed Prabhas in a manner that resonated with his fan base, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats with a compelling cliffhanger. The intrigue surrounding the events in the kingdom of Khansar, the transformation of close friends Deva and Varadharaja Mannar into arch-rivals, and the reasons behind Deva's exile with his mother have piqued the curiosity of viewers. While the release date for 'Salaar: Part 2' has not been officially announced, Prasanth Neel confirmed in interviews that the second part is yet to be filmed.

Originally planning to commence work on #NTR31 before 'Salaar: Part 2,' Prasanth Neel's plans reportedly shifted due to NTR's commitment to 'Devara,' divided into two parts. With 'War 2' also in Prabhas's lineup, and NTR's busy schedule for the next couple of years, the decision has been made to prioritize 'Salaar Part 2.' Rumors suggest that the team wants to capitalize on the momentum before interest wanes.

In the film, Prithviraj Sukumaran portrays Varadharaja Mannar, while Prabhas takes on the role of Devaratha. Shruti Hassan features as the leading lady, narrating the entire flashback, with Jagapathi Babu playing Prithviraj's father and Shriya Reddy as Radha Rama. Produced by Hombale Films, Eeswari Rao portrays Prabhas' mother in this pan-Indian production. Ravi Basrur composed the music, and Bhuvan Gowda served as the director of photography. The anticipation for 'Salaar: Part 2' remains high, with fans eagerly awaiting the continuation of this captivating saga.
