LIC sends notice to Vignesh Sivan LIC. Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan's latest project, "Love Insurance Corporation" (LIC), has reportedly encountered a hurdle in the form of a notice from the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) regarding the usage of its title.
According to a report by Cinema Xpress, the notice explicitly conveys the insurance company's objection to the film's title and urges the filmmakers to reconsider their decision. It further emphasizes that failure to alter the film's name within the next seven days could lead to potential legal repercussions.
As of now, neither Vignesh Shivan nor the film's team has issued a response to this development.
"Love Insurance Corporation" features actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan alongside Krithi Shetty in the lead roles, with SJ Suryah playing a significant part. The project was officially announced in December of the previous year, and Vignesh Shivan expressed gratitude for the realization of his dream project during the muhurat.
This film marks the inaugural collaboration between Vignesh Shivan, Pradeep, and Krithi, with production handled by Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures.
The musical composition for "LIC" is entrusted to the accomplished musician Anirudh Ravichander, who has previously collaborated with Shivan on multiple occasions. Cinematography duties are being expertly managed by Ravi Varman, promising a visual and auditory treat for audiences eagerly anticipating this unique cinematic venture.
