In this age of getting new films into viewers pockets within a month of its theatrical release, it is high priority for any Filmmaker to come up with a original and unique idea for his film. Young director Sailesh Kolanu too showed promise with his first two films, HIT 1, HIT 2 and also announced HIT 3. Even though both the films are close to find a psychotic killer which narrates an investigative tale in an engaging manner.
Now, Sailesh got the opportunity to do a film titled, 'Saindhav' with Victory Venkatesh. Sailesh right from the announcement of the project, has revealed that this is an out and out action film where Venky will be seen in a ferocious role. This got fans and movie enthusiasts excited for the film. With the release of the trailer, the anticipation has increased multi folds.
Going by the trailer, 'Saindhav' is about a dying daughter who is the world fo his father who is an ex- Hitman. To save his daughter he needs a viel which costs Rs 16 Crores. Venky gets into the job to get that viel in his old style. Arya, Nawazuddin, Shraddh Srinath, Andrea Jeremiah play other crucial roles.
After revealing almost entire plot in the trailer, many draws parallels to Hollywood film, 'Sweet Girl' starring Aquaman fame Jason Momoa. Sweet Girl also has the same conflict point of getting medicine to save his wife.But, due to lack of viel, she passed away. Then Jason Momoa along with his daughter aims for revenge against those who are responsible for his wife's death. Saindhav too follows the same path but it is changed form Wife in English film to Daughter in Telugu. Let's wait and see whether Saindhav is a remake of an inspiration. The film will hit the screens on 13th January for Sankranthi.
