Anushka Shetty is referred as Lady Superstar by her fans and media not because of her being a part of big films with star heroes but for her ability to pull boxoffice numbers solely by her presence itself. It is Anushka who made female oriented films a trend after Lady Amitabh Vijayasanthi in 90's. Anushka became primary choice for lady oriented films for filmmakers. Now, latest reports suggest that she has given her nod to do a film with Director Krish.

Anushka worked with Krish for Hyperlink film, Vedham in 2010 where she played an iconic role of prostitute Saroja. The film won numerous accolades for Anushka for her authentic portrayal of the character and her natural performance. Now, after 13 years, Krish has readied another strong female oriented film and he believes that none other than Anushka can do justice to it. Reports suggest Anushka too is interested to do the film.
