Karthi joined hands with director PS Mithran for 'Sardar' and the film was released for the occasion of 2024.
The cop drama turned out to be a huge hit, and the makers announced the film's sequel following its success. Now, here is the latest update on 'Sardar 2', and the film shooting to begin in April 2024. With Karthi in the lead role 'Sardar' sequel will have a new female lead, and director PS Mithran has reportedly completed the script work for the film.
PS Mithran is to begin the location hunt soon, and the shooting is planned to commence in April 2024. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music for 'Sardar 2', whereas the 2022 release had music by GV Prakash Kumar. George C. Williams, who handled the camera for 'Sardar' will also be carried for the sequel as well.
Karthi is currently filming for his respective films with directors Nallan Kumarasamy and Prem Kumar, and he will be completing the work for both films before commencing the work for 'Sardar 2'. Karthi is also planning to do a sequel to 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondrum', and he will be reuniting with director H Vinoth for the film. Director H Vinoth is planning to commence the sequel next as his film with Kamal Haasan ('KH 233') is getting delayed because of the actor's prior commitments.
