Mansoor Ali Khan gets shock from court over PIL on Chiranjeevi

PIL against Chiru: Court shocks MAK

Mansoor Ali Khan gets shock from court over PIL on Chiranjeevi.Mansoor Ali Khan drew widespread attention when a viral video captured him making controversial remarks in Tamil about his co-star Trisha. In the video, he expressed inappropriate expectations for intimate scenes with Trisha, citing his past roles in explicit scenes and expressing disappointment about not being able to enact similar scenes with her during the shoot in Kashmir.

Subsequently, Mansoor Ali Khan's attempt to file a defamation case against Trisha, Chiranjeevi, and Kushboo Sundar faced a setback as the Madras High Court deemed it a potential publicity stunt. Rejecting the filing, the court imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh on the actor and directed him to contribute this amount to the Adyar Cancer Institute in Chennai. The court, in its judgment, highlighted that Trisha and others responded to Mansoor's statements in a manner consistent with how any normal person would react.

In a prior hearing on December 11, the court criticized Mansoor Ali Khan for initiating the defamation case against Trisha and seeking ₹1 crore in compensation from the Ponniyin Selvan actress. The court questioned the basis for Khan's legal action and suggested that Trisha should be the one suing him. It further raised concerns about whether his apology was a mere attempt to avoid arrest.

Before announcing his intention to file a case against Trisha, Mansoor had issued a statement apologizing to his co-actress. Following this apology, Trisha responded on her social media platform, quoting, "To err is human, to forgive is divine." The legal proceedings have underscored the need for responsible conduct in public spaces, with the court advising Khan's counsel to guide the actor on acting responsibly.
