Salaar marches ahead of Dunki

Salaar overtakes Dunki in advance bookings. Shah Rukh Khan's much-anticipated film, "Dunki," scheduled for a Christmas release, has ignited tremendous excitement among the superstar's fan base. The trailer and songs have created significant buzz, leaving eager fans counting the days until December 21. The anticipation has translated into a stellar performance in advance ticket sales, which began on December 16 in India.

Trade reports reveal that "Dunki" has already grossed Rs 1.28 crore on the first day of advance booking, with 35,206 tickets sold across 2,844 shows. The highest sales have been recorded in regions like Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Gujarat, and Karnataka, adding to the growing anticipation surrounding the film.

As "Dunki" gears up for its release, it is set to go head-to-head with Prabhas' "Salaar." According to trade analyst Girish Wankhede, early predictions favor "Dunki" in terms of screen space and box office collections. Wankhede stated, "Looking at both the trailers and the excitement right now, I think 'Dunki' will have better screen space and better collections because this year seemingly belongs to Shah Rukh Khan, and he may score a hattrick as he still is in great form and shape."
