Ranbir,Sai Pallavi Ramayan from this date. Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated project, "Ramayana," is set to bring to life the revered Hindu epic on the silver screen. According to recent reports, the stellar cast includes Ranbir Kapoor portraying Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash taking on the role of Raavan. The film is scheduled to commence production in February/March 2024 and is slated for release in the second half of 2025.

The visionary director, Nitesh Tiwari, has meticulously crafted the world of "Ramayana," enlisting the expertise of Oscar-winning VFX company DNEG for production. The filmmakers aim to introduce innovative filmmaking technology, with extensive pre-production work, including 3D scans and look tests, already completed with the lead actors.

KGF sensation Yash, who has an extended appearance in Part One, is set to join the film's team in July after wrapping up his commitments for "Toxic." In June, it was reported that Yash initially hesitated to play Raavan, being mindful of his fans' expectations. However, he was captivated by the project's visuals and Nitesh Tiwari's vision for retelling the Ramayana with purity.

Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash have undergone various tests and scans as part of pre-production, ensuring a meticulous approach to the portrayal of their iconic characters. Ranbir is expected to visit the offices of DNEG in Los Angeles for further pre-production work early next year.

"Ramayana: Part One" is anticipated to unveil in the second half of 2025, with talks ongoing with actor Sunny Deol for the role of Hanuman. However, Sunny Deol's participation remains unconfirmed. Previously, it was reported that Alia Bhatt was considered for the role of Sita in this ambitious cinematic undertaking. As the project unfolds, the team is committed to delivering a visually stunning and faithful rendition of this timeless epic.
