Versatile actor who is also a multilingual hero, Dhanush is also a Director. His first film as a director 'Pa Pandi' with Raj Kiran, Revathy, Madonna Sebastian, and himself in a cameo role, became a success and won accolades for his directorial prowess. Currently he is directing his 50th film, D50. He is all set to don the director’s hat for the third time.
D50, which went on floors earlier this year, is expected to be a big-budget project with a star-studded cast. Dhanush has already planned his next directorial project, which will have music by GV Prakash. The duo has worked together in several hit films, such as Aadukalam, Mayakkam Enna, Asuran, and upcoming Captain Miller.
GV Prakash revealed this surprising update in a recent interview, saying that he is excited to collaborate with Dhanush again. The untitled film, which will be produced by Gopuram Films, will also mark the debut of Dhanush’s cousin Varun as the lead actor. Adding to this, it was reported that Dhanush will also play an extended cameo in the film, which is said to be a family entertainer with a twist.
Dhanush, who is known for his acting prowess and experimental choices, has proved his mettle as a director with his first film, which won critical acclaim and audience appreciation. His second film, which is yet to be titled, is expected to be a grand spectacle with a ensemble cast, which is to be composed by AR Rahman.
