Namitha's husband receives summons. Renowned yesteryear actress Namitha, known for her scintillating performances in Telugu films such as "Sontam," "Gemini," "Billa," and "Simha," has found herself entangled in a legal matter. Reports indicate that Namitha and her husband, Virendra Chaudhary, have been summoned by the Tamil Nadu Salem Central Crime Branch for an investigation related to a fraud case concerning the position of Chairman of the Micro, Small, and Medium Scale Industries Council of Tamil Nadu.
According to the reports, a person named Muthuraman allegedly deceived Gopalswamy from Ammapalayam Zakir area in Salem, extracting 50 lakhs in cash with the promise of appointing him as the President of the Tamil Nadu Division of the Council of Industries. However, when Namitha's husband, Chaudhary, assumed the position, Gopalswamy filed a complaint with the police.
Following these events, Muthuraman and the national secretary of the council, Dushyant Yadav, were apprehended on the 31st of the previous month. The Suramangalam police have reportedly issued a summons to Namitha Bhartar Chaudhary, the Tamil Nadu branch president of the council, requesting her attendance for the inquiry.
This development adds a legal dimension to Namitha's public persona, previously celebrated for her contributions to the entertainment industry, and now finding herself amidst a complex investigation surrounding the alleged fraud in the industrial council appointment.
