Gopichand who is considered as a star with decent market for his films is now facing tough times. Most of his films became failures but, he still tries to score a mega hit. The much hyped Pakka Commercial directed by Maruthi has became a dud at the box office. He pinned hopes on Rama Banam directed by Sri Wass who earlier delivered Superhits for Gopichand with Lakshyam and Loukyam. But, his much hopead Rama Baanam with Sriwass also didn't brought him any luck.
On the other hand, director Sreenu Vaitla who is known for delivering blockbuster entertainers has emerged as one of the top directors . But , he faced a major blow with Aagadu and ever since he didn't recovered from failures. His last film Amar Akbar Anthony starring Ravi Teja was also bombed at the boxoffice. Meanwhile he tried to make a web series and announced Dhee sequel with Vishnu Manchu. But nothing materialized.
Finally, Sreenu Vaitla has joined hands with Gopichand. This film is crucial for both of them. The film which has been started already completed a crucial schedule in Italy along with canning a song and some scenes. Balagam fame Kavya Kalyanram has been roped in to play as a female lead in the film.
Madhavan As Villain
Tamil versatile hero Madhavan who has also made his debut as a director recently with much praised Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is playing as an antagonist in the film. Earlier Madhavan tried as a villain in Naga Chaitanya's Sabyasachi but due to its failure he didn't got much exposure. Let's see how it turns out this time.
