Tiger 3 towel fight teasing all. 'Tiger 3', featuring the charismatic trio of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi, is all set to grace theaters on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, November 12. Notably, Hollywood actress Michelle Lee, renowned for her prowess in crafting captivating fight sequences, has now been brought on board for the film. Michelle's impressive cinematic resume includes collaborations with industry giants like Scarlett Johansson in 'Black Widow,' Johnny Depp in 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' Brad Pitt in 'Bullet Train,' and Tom Hardy in 'Venom.' In 'Tiger 3,' she is credited with delivering one of the film's most viral action sequences—the towel fight scene set in a Turkish hammam.
Michelle Lee isn't surprised that the towel fight sequence has become a major point of discussion in 'Tiger 3's' trailer. She reveals that both she and Katrina dedicated over two weeks to rehearse and perfect this sequence.
Michelle Lee expressed, ' I'm not surprised. I thought it was pretty epic when we were shooting it. We learned and practiced the fight for a couple of weeks before shooting it. The set design was absolutely gorgeous, and the fight was really enjoyable to perform. It was a wonderful experience working on an international film.'
Discussing her co-star, Katrina Kaif, Michelle praised her for her grace and professionalism. Michelle noted, 'Katrina was as graceful and professional as can be. She worked very hard on getting the movements precise and ensuring that all the motions flowed seamlessly. It was evident that she had experience in choreography, making it super easy to collaborate with her. We put in a lot of effort and worked up a sweat.'
Michelle emphasizes that managing the towels wrapped around their bodies proved to be the primary challenge during the hammam sequence. She explained, 'One of the main challenges was definitely the wardrobe! Our towels needed to stay in the proper place, and with so much movement and fight choreography, it was definitely a challenge. We ended up having the towels sewn closed at certain points, and that helped a lot.'
She added, 'Another challenge was striking each other at the perfect distance to create the appearance of danger and strength, yet ensuring it was far enough not to actually cause harm. Can you imagine if I actually hit her?! But I'm a professional, so things went smoothly. Neither of us got hurt, so we just had to make it work for the camera.'
'Tiger 3' is the latest installment in the YRF Spy Universe, following 'Ek Tha Tiger,' 'Tiger Zinda Hai,' 'War,' and 'Pathaan.' The film sees Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as Avinash and Zoya, respectively. Directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra, 'Tiger 3' stands as one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, promising to light up the screens during Diwali in 2023.
