Jailer Villain Vinayakan Arrested For Creating Ruckus

Jailer Villain Arrested

Malayalam actor Vinayakan, who played the villain in the latest Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer', was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly causing chaos at a police station in an inebriated state in Kerala. He was later released on bail after due procedure. Vinayakan was arrested by Ernakulam North police on charges of behaving uncontrollably in a public place in a drunken state and obstructing the police station's operations.

The actor allegedly caused a commotion at the Ernakulam Town North police station in the evening, where he was summoned by the police after he allegedly created some issues at his apartment. He was arrested for making trouble at the police station, a senior police officer said. "He has been taken to a nearby hospital for the necessary medical examination," the officer added.

Police later let the actor off on bail after due procedure. Meanwhile, Vinayakan, while leaving with the police from the hospital after his medical examination, told media persons that he was unaware why he was arrested. When asked about the reason for his arrest, the actor said, "I came to file a complaint. Please ask the police why I was brought here (hospital)."
