Ever since Pooja Hegde moved away from much awaited Mahesh, Trivikram's Guntur Kaaram and Meenakshi Choudhary steps in her shoes, she became quite popular. Meenakshi made her debut with Sushanth starrer Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu. The film didn't gave her a flying start and then she got played as one of the two female leads in Ravi Teja's Khiladi.
She earned recognition with Adivi Sesh starrer HIT : The Second Case which turned out to be the first box-office hit in her career. Her career took major turning point with Guntur Kaaram. She was roped in to play as second female lead in the film. Since then many films queued up for her. She was already doing a film with Vishwak Sen in #VS10.
After being a part of Guntur Kaaram, she bagged Matka with Varun Tej. She is playing as female lead in this period action film directed by Karuna Kumar. Recently confirmed opposite Dulquer Salmaan in Lucky Baskhar which is to be produced by Sithara Entertainments along with Fortune Four Cinemas. Venu Atluri is directing this film.
Now, the big news is Meenakshi Chaudhary has been confirmed opposite Vijay in #Thalapathy68 to be directed by Venkat Prabhu. Vijay is playing dual role in the film as father - son duo. While Sneha is being casted to pair for father's role, Meenakshi is playing opposite son' role in the film. AGS Entertainment is bank-rolling this project. Earlier Priyanka Mohan is considered as female lead but reports confirm that Meenakshi has been finalised for the role.
