Shruti turns extra cautious. Shruti Haasan, known for her prominent roles in Telugu films like 'Krack' and 'Waltair Veerayya,' is contemplating the idea of hiring bodyguards following a disturbing stalking incident. In a candid revelation, she shared her thoughts on personal security during an Ask Me Anything session, acknowledging her desire for a life without personal bodyguards but highlighting the necessity that emerged from recent events.
'I don't typically have personal bodyguards because I value my personal space and prefer to live life as freely as possible. However, the recent incident was blown out of proportion, and I expressed my discomfort with it. I believe it's okay to do so because my personal space is important to me, she explained.'
Shruti Haasan found herself in an unfortunate situation at Mumbai airport, where an unidentified individual persistently followed her despite her efforts to maintain distance. In videos of the incident, she can be seen repeatedly questioning the man's identity as he continued to disturb her while she attempted to get into her car.
During her Instagram session, she candidly addressed the unsettling encounter at the airport, saying, ' I'm glad you asked this question. I had no idea who he was. As I was leaving, I noticed this person following me, and one of the photographers in the group said, 'Go near her, go next to her, are you feeling shy?' He seemed to be a friend of one of the photographers or someone in the crowd.'
She continued, 'He was extremely close, which made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't know him, and I thought maybe the photographer had asked him to approach me and reveal his identity, but that didn't happen. He was just too close, and it was very uncomfortable.'
The incident at the Mumbai airport left Shruti Haasan understandably perturbed, prompting her to consider enhanced security measures to safeguard her personal space and well-being.
