Venky hit film sequel on cards

Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule sequel on cards. Tamil director Selvaraghavan is said to have crafted a script that serves as a sequel to his highly acclaimed Telugu film, 'Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule,' which featured Venkatesh and Trisha and was released in 2007. This film, a delightful blend of comedy and emotion, resonated deeply with the Telugu audience, emerging as one of the crowning achievements in Venkatesh's illustrious career.

In the original story, Venkatesh's character falls head over heels in love with Trisha, and their paths cross as they both work at a software company. However, the plot takes an unexpected twist when he discovers that she is already engaged, and further revelations reveal that she is set to marry his close friend, portrayed by Srikanth.

Selvaraghavan, who has since ventured into acting with roles in films like 'Mark Antony,' hasn't relinquished his passion for directing. His desire to create a sequel to 'Aadavari' has been fueled by an intriguing concept, and he is approaching this project with renewed enthusiasm. Selvaraghavan has already reached out to Trisha, who has graciously accepted the role of the female lead. Discussions are also underway with Venkatesh to take the project to the next level.

Selvaraghavan, who previously remade 'Aadavari' in Tamil with his brother and actor Dhanush as 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini,' experienced success with that endeavor. It appears likely that he will follow a similar path for the sequel, aiming to recreate the magic that made the original film a beloved classic.
