Allu Arjun says he is not about Tollywood Legends. Icon Star Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award at the national level for his performance in Pushpa The Rule. In the process, he became the first Tollywood actor in 69 years to win the coveted award.
This stirred the hornet nest and many started speculating and discussing whether Allu Arjun deserved the award and how could the jury have ignored other best performances and overlooked them to give the award to Allu Arjun.
They even pointed out that Tollywood legends like NTR,ANR, SVR and others did not get the award. Some even commented that Allu Arjun would become even more arrogant after winning the award. In the midst of all this, Allu Arjun who hosted a party to the media after winning the award interacted with them and showcased his humble nature.
Sharing his feeling she said ' I cannot describe my feelings. Though I got the award, I do not consider myself above all the legends and great personalities of Tollywood. I have no idea as to why they did not get the award and the circumstances pertaining then. I am always surprised as to why Telugu actors did not get the best actor award for all these years. When the award was announced I was under the impression that I was the third from Tollywood to win the award. Even I was surprised and was extremely happy when I came to know that I am the first from Tollywood"
