There were several versions behind their decision. Some even made allegations that Dhanush's affair with a Heroine leads to the clashes between the pair. But, nothing concrete has been revealed yet.
As per latest reports, Dhanush wanted to build a lavish house in Poes Gardens, Chennai where Rajinikanth is also living in his own house. Nearby to Rajini's house Dhanush started building a plush house. Rajinikanth who believes in vasthu at that time said that as per their jyotishyam, building house in that area will cause problems in family. So he suggested Dhanush to build at some other place.
His wife Aishwarya also objected in building such a lavish house very close to her father Rajinikanth's house. This lead to the clashes between Dhanush and her and finally l d to the divorce, says the latest reports. Dhanush has completed the house and living there with his parents since last year.
