Rashmika Mandanna who rose to pan India fame with Pushpa 1 The Rise has done a couple of Hindi films but none of them worked in favour of her. Her south films this year Varisu / Vaarasudu also didn't fetched her fame as she was limited to songs and a couple of scenes in this star vehicle.
Her next release is Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal directed by Sandeep Vanga. Animal was initially slated to release of Independence day weekend but pushed to December due to post production work. Speaking to scribes she also spoke about her role in Animal.
According to Rashmika, December is her lucky month. She made her debut with Kirik Party which was released in December, 2016. Then Pushpa was released in December, 2021. But before that her Kannada films Chamak and Anjani Putra were also released in the month of December which turned out to be superhits.
So, she ia considering December as her lucky month for her releases. Now, Animal is her 5th film which is going to release in December. Speaking about her role in the film she says, ' Its a very different role for me. Something I'd have never imagined myself doing before.' She has the much awaited Pushpa 2 The Rule in the pipeline.
