Why Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth cannot emulate Amitabh

Constraints of being Chiru, Rajini

Why Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth cannot emulate Amitabh. Whenever watch south superstars like Mega Star Chiranjeevi or Super Star Rajinikanth enact high octane action sequences in their films even after crossing 60s and 70s, common people always wonder and ask why they do not do rules suited for them like Big B Amitabh Bachchan but instead enact high octane stunts or try to romance heroines who are younger than their daughters.

One look a Chiranjeevi's recent entertainers, be it Khaidi No 150, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Acharya, Waltair Veerayya and Bholaa Shankar, he had young heroines paired opposite him and also enacted high octane stunts and also danced to romantic and mass songs. Same is the case with Rajinikanth in his films  Kochadaiyan, Lingaa, Kaala, Kabali,2.0, Petta, Darbar, and Annate, more often than not, he also romanced heroines and enacted high-octane stunts.

But what analysts and movie lovers fail to realise his they have an enormous strong fanbase and they have to cater to their needs. They are the ones who play key role in the film's collections and records. So neither Rajini or Chiru and their directors cannot ignore them. Fans after the debacles of their previous films will come out with open letters asking them to stop doing such routine mass roles but they will be the first to blast them if they try something new.

Amitabh Bachchan's transition happened smoothly because in between he stopped doing films after he suffered huge losses when he went financially broke due to his company ABCL and during that time new blood Shah Rukh and Salman took over. To the top of it, North movie lovers are not crazy about their heroes unlike Tamil Nadu and two Telugu states. So it becomes extremely difficult for either Rajini and Chiru to transform themselves completely. They may win awards and accolades but their producers will suffer huge losses.
