The film is generating immense interest as it is directed by Prashant Neel who stunned all with the mass elevations in KGF 1 and KGF 2. With the entry of Prabhas, who has a tremendous fan following among all sections of people across the country, expectations are soaring for the film.
But it is coming out that Salaar is not meant for Prabhas. It is coming out that Prashant Neel when he readied the powerful story first approached Mega Power Star Ram Charan for the lead role. However, Ram Charan though he loved the story, did not give the green signal as he was busy with Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR.
RRR turned out to be a sensation across the world and Ram Charan became a Global Star. Had Ram Charan starred in Salaar, the film would have created a sensation across the world. But with Ram Charan unable to do the project, Prashant Neel approached Prabhas and he readily agreed to do the film.
Prashant Neel is showing Prabhas in the most ruthless avatar and the film's first part, Salaar-The Cease Fire will be released on 28 September 2023. However, it is known that Prashant Neel and Ram Charan will be coming together for another powerful project.
