Kakinada , Aug 29 :
Taking a deep dig at the ruling Congress and Telugu Desam Party, the Praja Rajayam Party chief Chiranjeevi on Saturday affirmed that his party will wage a relentless fight until 50 per cent share in KG basin is achieved for the state.
He blamed the TDP and the Congress for being too casual in neglecting the welfare of the people specially the fishermen in the Gadimoga village which is about 30 km from Kakinada
Due to the production of gas in this region, this area is being polluted and the fishermen are the worst hit. Assuring the fishermen of PRP’s support against injustice he said both the Congress and the Telugu Desam are indifferent to problems of the people here.
``We will fight for a good relief package for the fishermen of Gadimoga’’, the PRF chief assured the village folk. Speaking earlier in Kakinada Chiranjeevi asked the Centre to bring out a white paper on K G Basin gas to reveal facts in connection with o gas sharing agreement and royalties. Referring to the recent assembly sessions he criticised the TDP for wasting the precious time in the House with selfish motives.
