Andhra Pradesh people have no dearth of Yatras on their calendars. We had enough of the Odarpu Yatra from Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy. TDP leader N Chandrababu Nadu under took a Yatra to Babhli project with 74 legislators and came back pathetically wounded and bruised.
And, now comes Praja Rajyam Party leader K Chiranjeevi who takes us on a Yatra called Praja Chaitanya Yatra.
The week-long awareness yatra will be launched on Sunday (Aug 8) by the party, PRP official spokesperson Gautam told newsmen. The first two-days' yatra will tour round Nellore district, the party sources said.
The next phase of the Chaitanya Yatra will focus on Chittoor district on Aug 10 and 11. The PRP's awareness yatra will tour round Kadapa district on Aug 12 and 14.
The party's plenary will anounce the dates of the Yatra in the North Coastal Andhra Pradesh later.
The Yatra is aimed at highlighting the state Government's failures and to remind the Government of its need to take up the development programmes, Gautam added.
