Strange are the ways of Congress. To snub one person, they encourage another at times even from outside the party. Encouraged by Congress leaders though not directly, Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi is planning to tour Kadapa district from Aug 12.
The PRP chief will conduct rallies, hold meetings and visit a couple of temples in the district. According to the local party leaders, Chiranjeevi will arrive in Kadapa on August 12 and will hold public meetings at Rayachoti, Galiveedu and Surabhi.
The following day, he will visit Sri Veeranjineyaswamy temple in Gandi. Later, he will address pubic meetings in Brahmamgari Matham, Madhavara, Nanduluru and Rajampet.
This move by Chiranjeevi is viewed as a counter against YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the Congress MP from Kadapa who is going hammer and tongs against the party leadership in the State. It is suspected that the Chiru visit to Kadapa district at Congress' behest might try to upstage the Jagan logistics.
