APOA demands unconditional apology from TRS leader

The Andhra Pradesh Police Officers’ Association (APPOA) took a serious view  of the  abusive language allegedly used by Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader Nayani  Narsimha Reddy against the police officers present at Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet where Chakali Srinivas, a Telangana supporter succumbed to burns  recently.

The APPOA chief K.V Chalapathi Rao, condemned the senior TRS leader for  using such unparliamentary language. Chalapathi  urged the TRS  leader  to  tender an unconditional apology to the police officers within two days, failing to do so, legal proceedings would be initiated against him.

Use of abusive language by a people’s  representative would only aggravate the situation and create a wide rift between the police and the public.
