The Telugu Desam Party workers are intent on confronting Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan when he visits Puttaparti on Wednesday.
Angered by the treatment meted out to Telugu Desam leader N Chandrababu Naidu and 74 MLAs and other supporters presently under judicial remand in Maharashtra, party activists are out to express their resentment against Ashok Chavan.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister is scheduled to visit Puttaparti Saibaba on Wednesday. Showing resentment against the treatment meted out to their party leaders the TDP activists are planning to descend at the airport of Ananapur to obstruct the entry of Chavan to Anantapur district.
The TDP leaders who are languishing in the Maharashtra jails have already been informed about the scheduled visit of Ashok Chavan to Anantapur. It is learn that the TDP leaders gave the party workers the green signal to obstruct Chavan’s visit.
To this effect, politburo member K Srinivas will lead the TDP supporters at Anantapur to obstuct the visit of Ashok Chavan.
