Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy's ongoing Odarpu Yatra in East Godavari district is a hogwash, alleged Cantonment MLA Shankar Rao.
Rao told mediapersons here on Wednesday that the family of YSRajasekhara Reddy during the past six-year rule had looted the state including Telangana region of its resources. The leasing out of Bayyaram iron ore mines is an example of blatant violation of rules, he said.
Jagan's Yatra is not meant to sympathise with the bereaved families, but to draw sympathy from the people to advance his political gains. After the death of his father, Jagan took up the Yatra to protect his personal interests. No senior leader has accompanied the Congress MP, Rao alleged.
All those following Jagan are only kids in politics, he asserted and said the Yatra is no hindrance to Rossaiah Government as he has the blessings of party supremo Sonia Gandhi. None can shake Rosaiah Government, Rao added.
